The basics of European Roulette
The goal of European Roulette is to predict which number will fall. The winning number is determined by a large wheel. On this wheel are numbers 0 to 36. Each number has the color red or black. There is one exception and that is the zero. The zero has the color green. In American Roulette there are even two of these zeros.
Next to the wheel is a large table. On it are all the boxes with numbers. These numbers recur on the wheel. By placing your chips on one of the numbers you bet money. - Corner bet – You bet on a block of 4 numbers. You do this by creating a square on the table with four numbers lying side by side. You place a chip at the middle point where the lines cross. Did you predict it correctly? Then you get 8 times your bet.
How do outside bets work?
In addition to placing chips on numbers, there are also so-called outside bets. In order to place an outside bet, you sometimes literally have to place your chip along the side of the game. Outside bets usually have a high chance of winning. Sometimes your chance of winning is around 50% and that’s not bad.
The downside, however, is that they pay a lot less than a straight bet. Nevertheless, there are plenty of players who only play with outside bets. This is also allowed. As long as you bet on something each round, you can decide what kind of bet you place. We have explained a number of outside bets below:

This is perhaps the best known outside bet. On the playing field, you’ll see red and black boxes. You can then predict whether the number fallen on the wheel will be red/black.
